Obama's own staff has produced the data to show that the President was wrong Monday when he said America doesn't have enough engineers, was wrong last week in the State of the Union to say we need more high-skilled foreign workers, and was wrong in sending out spokespersons to claim that not enough Americans are obtaining engineering degrees. Offered a stark choice on the illegal immigration issue, Florida Latino Republicans today broke nearly 2-1 for the candidate with the firmest opposition to amnesty and strongest support for enforcement.  It was a strong rebuke of the majority of media commentators who insist that Latino-Americans can only be won by promising rewards for lawbreaking. And it was a victory for the concept of self-deportation as an alternative to mass deportation and mass legalization.

Newt & Mitt mixed it up with vigor at the very beginning of tonight's debate over whether opposition to amnesty is "anti-immigrant."  The exchange was the best yet in a debate at finally connecting illegal immigration to the jobs issue.
